About
Reproducibility, Big Data, and Data Sharing in Geomorphology is a two day online workshop which aims to establish a community of practice around reproducible computational research in geomorphology. This workshop will bring together geomorphologists from a diverse range of career stages and backgrounds to explore key themes around the reproducibility of our discipline.
Keynote presentations and discussions will be gathered around four key themes:
- Big data in geomorphology
- Data sharing/environmental costs of computational research
- Best practices in topographic analysis
- Making numerical modelling reproducible
Following the discussions and presentations, all attendees will be invited to co-author a paper drawing together the ideas and perspectives shared during the discussion sessions.
Schedule
The event will be held on Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th November 2023, and all times below are in Central European Time (CET).
